What Would Happen if the Fire Nation Existed?
I love cartoons. I think you would have known regarding my last post about "What Would Happen if Steven Universe Was Real" blog. But this theory is a lot different. Many people compare The Fire Nation to that of the United States in some way. Well sorry to burst your bubble but...they aren't alike. The Fire Nation is an absolute monarchy while the United States is a Federal Republic.
If the Fire Nation existed, they would have been snuffed out pretty quickly. Let's look at the scenario for those who are skeptical.
If we compare let's say 1776 U.S with the Fire Nation, yes you can assume that the Fire Nation would immediately snuff out the Americans and annex the colonies redesigning the flag, jailing the founding fathers, and invading Britain and occupying it under the Fire Lord's rule brining forth a second Roman Empire. The reason for this is because American technology back then was not as advanced as the Fire Nation was...also they have one advantage...their firebending. A single firebender can scorch a smalll town within minutes. An army of firebenders would snuff out a large city within seconds.
The Fire Nation managed to conquer the entire world in the Avatarverse for over a thousand years because there was no opposing power second to the Earth Kingdom to keep it in check.
Since the Fire Nation would be imperialistic in nature, it's safe to assume that the nations it pissed off will invade and conquer the Firte Nation.
For this to occur, we have to see about rising the Fire Nation from the sea and dumping people from the show to the real world. The Imperialistic Fire Nation will have little knowlege about our world. Would they automatically declare war...well they'll send their naval ships to the east and west. The Fire Nation will tend to attack Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei effectively pissing off China and Taiwan. By the Fire Nation attacking and raiding the cities, they will still think that this was the Fire Nation...with guns and aircraft. By the time a FireNation soldiers gets shot they will form a retreat only for Chinese warships to attack and burn the Fire Nation navy.
Words returns back to the palace and the Fire Lord is pissed off. Again trying to launch a large raid, he effectively declares war against the "Earth Kingdom".
Meanwhile in the United States, the U.S government would have insight about the attacks in China. Securing their borders against terrorism unaware that Fundamentalist groups have nothing to do with it.
It wouldn't take long for the Fire Nation to sale to California, Oregon, and Washington, raiding the three western states killing almost 10,000 people. In response, the United States fight off the Fire Nation, pushing them back to the sea.
The Fire Nation now outgunned and outclassed are forced back to their lands.
If the Fire /nation existed, a total global war would ensue involving China, Taiwan, The United States and NATO. They would ramsack the Fire Nation and take the capital in almost minutes. The Fire Lord is brought to an international court where he would be prosecuted and the children would be taken custody. Half of the nation would be split and the Fire Nation would be no more. The United States would control the west while the Chinese control the east.
Over time the Fire Nation would quickly odernize adapting to our technology, and like Germany, would reunify but under a federal republic.
