Chewing Tobacco on the 1st date – 1/14

We took this very seriously.

Yesterday was supposed to be spent filming a few simple exterior shots for Cheaters Prosper. The actors arrived on time, but unfortunately my brother, the cameraman, was distressed to learn the location required travel he was not prepared for.

I did not view this as a total loss, especially with the setbacks I’ve endured these past few days. Instead we spent the evening figuring out exactly how many more days of shooting we would need to finish the film – came down to 4 days and 4 nights, including the re-shoot. I consider this good news.

After Scott left, me and Catrina got some dinner and discussed sketch ideas that we could film on the drive back. We came up with the premise of an exceptionally awkward 1st date, fueled by my character’s decision to chew tobacco right in front of her. The below short was filmed with my phone, a “selfie-stick”, and some scotch tape. Enjoy.
