Reviews that are thoughtful and insightful should be embraced by an author. They offer us the chance to revisit the time we stared at a page of dialogue or scene wondering and even agonizing over where the hell it would take us. But they also let us rejoice and fist-pump when our efforts truly connect with our cherished readers.
