How have we gone so long without a big-screen treatment of our beloved Peanuts comics? Good grief! Well, now we have an animated movie of our childhood favorite to welcome the new year. The perfect movie date with your little siblings and cousins, The Peanuts Movie will inspire you to overcome obstacles with positivity, honesty, and sincerity. Here are a few life lessons we learned from Charlie Brown and his friends. 

Even if you feel like the whole world is against you, remember that there are people who are on your side, always. Charlie Brown has his loyal, if mischievous, pet Snoopy, not to mention his best friend Linus and his other friends in the neighborhood.

"Snoopy, why is it that everything I try turns out wrong? Sometimes I wonder if the other kids really like me. Maybe that new kid will see me for who I really am. Like you. A dog doesn’t try to give advice or judge you—they just love you for who you are."
