The Shannara Chronicles

I was pretty impressed with the first episode of The Shannara Chronicles. Good plot, characters, and movie-like quality. I was a little surprised that it is an MTV show, but with the YA slant, it probably makes sense. Now I'm tempted to go back and reread some of Terry Brooks's books. I remember really enjoying them back in the day.
