Quosters

I’ve had fun recently producing quote posters or “quosters” for my books. Quosters, as the name suggests, combine a quote from a novel with an appropriate image to create something that (hopefully) entices people to read the book.

I started off by making quosters for the second book in my series, Dragon Hunters, which is out in February. I’ll reveal those closer to the pub date. Then I made a quoster for each of the characters in When the Heavens Fall. You can see them below. It was a difficult task finding a quote from the book which captured the spirit of each character. It was also tough finding an image for the characters that corresponded to the detail in the book – Parolla’s all-black eyes, for example. But I’m happy with how they turned out.

Finally, I’ve already started thinking about quosters for book three, Red Tide, which is out in September this year. Below are the four that I’ve made so far. I might change them a little before publication, but in the meantime they will give you an indication of a couple of the returning characters that you can expect to see in the book.
