Do Not Underestimate the Role of a Child in Your Life

This verse from First Timothy encourages me. It illustrates the impact how one child can impact the lives of those around them. I have a first hand experience with this. In 2004, God used a child to reach my heart and fill the void of darkness left after my sister, Heidi Allen's, abduction.

God used a child with me because they are my soft spot and have the ability to melt my heart with a smile. Of course the child who told me I needed Jesus wasn't smiling. He was determined with a persistent love of God and desire to share this with me. Something I am thankful for. I wouldn't be here blogging, writing, or speaking to share how God used me, a broken and grieved sister to help others know there is hope and they too can survive after tragedy.
