5 Things You Missed Today (January 8)
Here's another perfect performance from Taylor Swift during her celebration of the record-breaking attendance exhibit at the GRAMMY Museum. This time, she posted the video of her performing a stripped-down version of "Blank Space" where she also talks about how she came up with the idea for the song. Watch the video of her amazing intimate number below.
The brilliant and beautiful Amandla Stenberg is on the cover of Teen Vogue's February 2015 issue and we love how she's just on a mission to spread inspiring words that will make all of us think. At one point in her cover interview, The Hunger Games star talked about that viral video of her talking about cultural appropriation—a homework she has for school. Here's what she has to say about it when Solange Knowles interviewed her for the cover: "I really didn't think it was going to be so controversial. And then to have the label of 'revolutionary' pinned on you afterward felt really daunting. I kind of had a moment with myself, like, 'OK. Is this what you want to do? Do you actually want to talk about issues? Is it worth it?' There are still moments now where I'm like, 'Whoa, this is a lot of pressure.' But it's worth it because when people come to me and say, 'I'm more comfortable in my identity because of you,' or 'I feel like you've given me a voice,' that's the most powerful thing ever." Way to go, Amandla! (via JustJaredJr.com)
