Based on the novels by Terry Brooks, the fantasy series follows an elven princess and a half-elf, half-human healer, who are on a mission to save their world from demons. 

Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (Freeform/ABC Family)

The Mortal Instruments film sequel may have been shelved, but the fantastical story lives on in this TV adaptation starring Katherine McNamara (Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Happyland) as Clary Fray and Dominic Sherwood (Vampire Academy, Taylor Swift's "Style" video) as Jace Wayland. Harry Shum Jr. from Glee also stars as the villain Magnus Bane.
