Poem : If I Could...

If I could go back in time
And change the things I’ve done
I’d study more for my classes
And earn a high 2:1

If I could go back in time
I’d get a better job
I’d say the things I want to say
And not side with the mob

If I could go back in time
I’d ask out all those birds
I didn’t have the guts to ask
And not regret my words

If I could go back in time
To the night we met
I’d impress you more than I did
So you’d never forget

But if I did go back in time
And changed my life’s direction
Improve my goals, achieve my aims
And finish with perfection

I might not end up in your life
Or with this wedding ring...
If I could go back in time
I wouldn’t change a thing
