So apparently, there’s some random indie-author woman who is scamming/catfishing book reviewers/bloggers into reviewing her books by pretending to be a PenguinTeen employee.

@penguinteen has been alerted, but please be aware of her!!!

I’ve been reading though this and it’s insane. The lengths this women went to deceive and manipulate people into reading her book is disgusting. If you’re a book blogger that receives arcs or contact from authors/publishers please make sure they are legit before giving them your personal contact information. I hope Penguin does something about this impersonator.
