HAVE YOU SEEN IT?? WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Ahhh, I’m still fresh from it and trying to digest, but in no particular order, here are my basic first reactions:

MARY NEEDS TO GO HOLY FUCK
Mycroft is going to die :(((((((
HA! I knew Moriarty was really dead!!
Mycroft in a fat suit = not cool, guys! :/
John + potato = fucking hilarious
LOTS of great Johnlock moments! I loved John instigating a sex talk, loved Sherlock’s awkwardness during it, loved the strengthening of the argument that he’s inexperienced, love that he all but said “I’m gay as fuck and you know that, Watson”, loved them finishing each other’s sentences and John running off with Sherlock so much that Mary felt overtly threatened by itBUT MARY NEEDS TO GO!!!!! Way too much “happy trio” bullshit in that, whatever else may come of it. Basically I object to any scene in which Mary appears as any other than an overt, clear-cut villain.
I hate, hate, HATE the drugs :((((((((
Andrew was amazing. Benedict was amazing. Martin was amazing. That’s not an order of preference; it’s alphabetical by first name. :P
I loved all the Johnlock bickering and the romance of the waterfall and even the barest suggestion that they could elope together. I WISH, SO HARD.
GO AWAY MARY. GO AWAY NOW, GO AWAY QUICKLY. JUST GO AWAY. The very suggestion that she is smarter than both Mycroft and Sherlock and can apparently hack into the MI5 database on her phone makes me roll my eyes so hard they could fall out of my head. Also, UM, SHE IS DANGEROUS????? WHY IS NO ONE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS???? UGH.
Sherlock + goodbye scene + deliberate suicide attempt + reading John’s affectionate account of their first meeting = all the tears in the world. Just kill me.
The plot was… fine? Would rather have just skipped directly to series 4, but that’s been my (quiet, unpopular) little opinion all along. :P It was a good episode. If heart-breaking, particularly re. the drugs and Mary still being around and all happy-chirpy-I’m-so-smart (vomit) and Sherlock deliberately overdosing. Did NOT like that Sherlock was apparently high on the tarmac. I want to know what those numbers on his list were and what it means.
Also consider: John reading that list, which was not a list of drugs but rather a list of triggers, and saying “this stuff will kill you”. Yeah. Um. Not happy about that. :(

Series 4 now, please!!! One special =/= a three-episode series and I’m so ready for the actual story to progress now, thanks! :P But it was enjoyable. I’m seeing it again at the theatre on Monday night. :) These are just my raw, unorganised, gut-reaction thoughts - don’t judge me too hard on them!! Things will settle and shift in my mind as I continue processing! :P
