here is a sketch of karin, a character designed by the master of 90s wonk, Masami Obari, for the neo geo game Gowcaizer.

She is ostensibly based on the monkey king, but honestly, it’s hard to tell from her original design. so I made her ears bigger and gave her a tail.

I never saw the anime based off this. I hear it’s totally great
