2016 Reading Challenge

Are you getting a lot of notifications in your inbox that people like your 2016 reading challenge?

I've gotten about 20 so far, and I'm happy for it.

I just went through and liked all the challenges of my Goodreads friends.

So far that's about 80 to 100 challenges.

This is what stands out to me:

- Many people are going for 80 to 100 books. Quite a few are aiming for 200.

- Lots of people already have 1 book finished.

- People that have a few books already tend toward graphic novels or shorter works.

- I was happy to see several names/faces that I recognize on other social channels.

- Not that many people are going for low numbers. I don't think I saw a single challenge that was under 20 books.

So those are things I've noticed.

I've chosen to go for 60 books this year.

Last year I went for 25 but bumped that up to 50 about halfway through the year.

I've been reading more. I figure my son getting to be 4-years old helps with that. I have a bit more time as he occupies himself.

Well, that's enough of my blathering.
