To be blessed means that you give thanks for things in your life and are grateful.
It’s important to feel blessed for our writing abilities as sometimes we seem to forget that it’s our writing that has a huge impact on ourselves and others.
Let’s count our writing blessings today, here are mine:
I am thankful for having an overactive and at times random / weird imagination. Some people lead unimaginative lives and never get the chance to pop off to fantasy land.
I am thankful for the ability to write, to create new people and places and to be able to get some sort of reaction from a reader.
I am thankful for having folders and folders of unfinished stories. Some writers would kill for my library of unfinished work. I have already started going back and finishing what I have started and that feels good.
