Teach us to rest.

In a weary world,

Help us to be humble salt.

Salt to provide flavor,

Salt that preserves,

Salt that graces every table.

In a world too busy to notice,

Through the power of your Holy Spirit—

Teach us to offer rest

To the weary among us.
