Is there any particular central theme/idea/goal you're pursuing with your creator owned comics work these days, or it more throwing characters into a pot and seeing what they do? (and/or how does the dynamic/tension between those two things play out in yo

These are the things we leave to the critics to decide, or for interviewers to attempt to pin me to the wall on.. Luckily for me, no critics read my stuff any more and interviewers just ask me what the entire plot of my latest thing is so that they don’t have to read and rewrite the press release, so I work in secret, and leave these things for the rare few readers to deduce. Anything else is self-aggrandisement and authorial intrusion.
