the thing i try to hone and improve and focus on between all the writing and plotting is specifically how to write foran artist. I think you have to develop a kind of secret grammar, a language only the two of you speak. I always want to figure out how to not just write well, but write well for whomever’s drawing the book, not just so our communication is clear but so that i’m getting the fuck out of their way and helping create the best Artist-Name book I can.
