Words of Comfort: Passing over.

We can see the wonderful truth of the gospel of salvation in the Passover of Egypt. God's wrath will pass over all who apply the blood of the Savior to the doorposts of their lives. All those who obeyed Moses had to exercise humility of heart and faith in his words. He told them to do something that seemed foolish. Such is the way of the gospel; it is foolishness to those who are perishing (see 1 Cor. 1:18).
