New Version of Huck Finn: Please note that my "Humor" icon is in play

This is satire, folks. No offense meant to anyone.

Here's a great spoof on New South's *altered edition of Huck Finn, in which spoof Jim is changed into Robot Jim to avoid the whole uncomfortable issue of slavery. I think this will really help the SF genre. Maybe we can nominate it for a Nebula? ;-)

*For those of you unaware of this issue, New South Books is publishing a new edition of Huck Finn which changes the n-word to "slave" in the hope of making it somehow more palatable to those who can't abide either the word, or the fact that this country engaged in slavery for a considerable length of time.

The short film is worth watching. Here's a sample of the new illustrations, with Robot Jim.
