Dear Flowered Concrete Followers,





One year ago today, Flowered Concrete’s Kevin Anglade (CEO/Founder) embarked upon a three week poetry workshop at Cambria Heights Library that combined both poetry and performance.



This year, the company has been fortunate enough to sustain the partnership from the Queens Library as we have built relationships with many of the library branches throughout the calendar year.



Our programs consist of teens/pre-teens as we lead them in workshops that will enhance and strengthen their creative writing and illustration chops through poetry, creative writing and drawing.



For each library that we worked with, we focused on the specific talents of the adolescents in attendance in order to cater to their needs when creating.



Below, is a list of the libraries that we worked at this year and a summary of the program itself:
