We have some pretty decent horror writers, too. I edit for a writer in Tasmania who is fantastic. I received your book yesterday, Chantelle. Thank you so much. I am currently reading a book and want to finish it before getting onto yours - I can't stop reading a book half way through!
And you will need to get down here to Australia some day. I don't think you'll ever see a more unique country, and the people are the friendliest around. Having said that, my dream is to visit Canada and Alaska some day.
I've visited the Netherlands for a month many years ago, staying around Hoofdorp. I hope to get back there again soon - my partner hasn't been to Europe, so I think it'd be a great place to start.
Glad the book arrived! The post office here was very friendly but nonchalant about the mailing to Australia ! :)Europe is fun - I have to say France is my favorite because of food and I can understand the language. Though the Dutch all speak English very well. The worst part is the area I am in (North Brabant) was destroyed in the war so there is no history - defying all assumptions and expectations of Europe!!
Yeah, she loves France too, and can understand French. I guess I'll have to go there when we get to have our trip, hahaha. The Dutch are definitely interesting people. My ex mother-in-law is Dutch. Strange how they are very arrogant here in Oz, but are generally quite nice over there. But nothing fazes them. That country has been through a lot.
