Comment on 8 Ways to Read 60 Books A Year by Mike Sowden

I’m currently at 51 and aiming to get a minimum of another four finished this month – so I’ll agree with you here on most points. My plans partly revolve around fiction, and I’m mindful of Stephen King’s advice – that being a successful fiction author is 50% reading, 50% writing.

The only thing I’ll disagree with is 6) – unless you mean “physically excited” to be either fascinated or disgusted. I’ve got a lot out of reading a couple of titles I knew I’d hate before I started reading. Someti...
