YA Series Insiders: What is something about Mather or Theron that you didn’t put in Ice Like Fire?
Sara: Towards the middle-ish of the book, Meira meets with Theron while he’s playing the piano. Originally, he was working on a song, and I wanted to put the lyrics in the book and enlist the help of one of my musician friends to make it an actual song – but alas, through all the crazy changes books undergo, it didn’t make the cut.
