Good Times For All: Goldilocks and Smackdowns

I've got lots to share this week. The big news: my urban fantasy retelling of Goldilocks, CHAOS TRYST, has been accepted by Carina Press! [shimmy-shake] This story is all romp & action, complete with a gorgeous Russian shape-shifting bear who has a penchant for dancing. Here's the unedited blurb:

Chaos magic, golden dreadlocks, and break-ins are Ariana Golde's trademarks. Ordinarily she pulls a B&E to retrieve an object and put it back where it belongs. Not tonight. She's accidentally stolen a family heirloom from the Medved Brothers, a trio of fabled Russian bears. Maksim Medved is known as the surly one, and stealing his parents' sculpture is a good way to set-off his chaos magic. Now Maks has caught up with Ari and when two equally chaotic forces meet the results are cataclysmic.

Magical demolition aside the pair are stuck, partners-in-crime for a one-night caper. They're on the trail of the unknown client who took possession of the Medved sculpture and put Ari on the case—and they'll cause major destruction along the way.

Falling in love has never been so…devastating.

And speaking of proclivities, comic book fans can't resist a fictional match-up—it's tattooed to our DNA—and when those fans are also Carina Press authors things get fun… Thus Shawn Kupfer, author of 47 ECHO, and I present: The Crackhead Smackdown. It's our way of inserting a little levity into the winter doldrums and you can win cool stuff.

Up for grabs are: my and Shawn's books, season 1 of Spartacus – Blood and Sand, Blade Runner, New Jack City, and Jungle Fever. All you have to do is vote for a shot at the books or comment for a chance at the DVDs. Join us for a bit of whackiness! VOTE NOW.
