Stranded Excerpt

How about a short snippet from STRANDED while everyone rushes off for Thanksgiving fun (and starts cooking)…

“You’re begging for me to go after you. You want me to launch the first strike.”

Brax stood up, meeting Cabe face-to-face. “You want to fight and take your revenge. I get it.”

“I liked you better when you were dead.”

The verbal blow bounced off Brax. He’d suffered so much worse. Growing up gay in a community that rejected him, fighting off a long line of attackers over the years . . . watching the blood slowly seep out of Cabe as his dark eyes closed. Yeah, words didn’t bother him. Cabe’s indifference did, so Brax welcomed a fight. Any sign of life or interest would be good.
