What experiences do you feel are necessary for children to learn? Each child learns differently, so as a teacher, it's important to be able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all the learners. Also, it's important for students and teachers to develop a good rapport. As far as background, I think those children with more guidance and structure at home will often do better in school. 2. What experiences do you feel are necessary for children to read? It's important for parents to set the example early on in life. Children need to be read to, as well as given the opportunity to explore books also. 3. What experiences do you feel are necessary for children to be successful in school? As far as experiences for children, that differs because I feel some children do not have many "experiences" while others do. I do; however, feel, if children are given a solid foundation at home, with positive experiences, then that will set the stage for success in the school. 4. What do you think are three characteristics of most young children? • Children model what they see and hear. • • Children are honest. • • Children (young children) will try to please others. • • 5. What experiences do you fell are necessary for children to learn? First of all children need to know that you are trying to understand them,if they are having difficulty. That you are willing to help them, and most of all love them just the way they are. It is also important to work with them daily and let them know that because they learn differently doesn't mean they can't succeed. Praise their every success no matter how small. Praise leads to confidence. Children need to believe in their ability to achieve. Even the smallest success is an accomplishment that deserves notice and acknowledged or they will give up on themselves. 2. What experiences do you feel are necessary for children to read? First of all cultivate an interest in learning. This begins at age six months or earlier evolving into a mind get of " life is a school." A successful reading foundation requires the same dedication, persistence, committment and practice necessary to be an Olympic champion. Hours of mastering the skill when learning disabilities are involved and a lot of hard work makes the difference in educational success.If the parent and child aspire to post secondary education, either technical school or college. 3. What experiences do you feel are necessary for children to be successful in school? Interaction with other children, exposure to many varied types of group settings,playground,library,perhaps a sport and church membership. 4.
