SSS: 6 Sentence Sunday

Morning Loverlies,

Welcome to my second Six Sentence Sunday. The six sentences I've chosen are from my reincarnation story, Make Me Remember.

I'm a dreamer and a strong believer in dreams. So of course, parts of this story came from dreams I've had. In this scene the heroine has just woken from a dream, a dream she shared with the heroine.

I opened my eyes, but kept them downcast, knowing if I looked into his and saw the same pain and sorrow mirrored in them, I would shatter into a million pieces. And at that moment, as much as I needed him, I wasn't sure if even he would be able to put me back together again.

"You had the dream, too," I whispered.

"Yes."

The images washed over me again, and a sob escaped my lips. I couldn't hold it back.
