It’s strange seeing photos of yourself and not seeing yourself. I don’t like mirrors, I avoid them completely, and I hate having my photo taken, so when you see a photo someone snapped of you when you were unaware it was, it gives you a rare opportunity to see you how you are, no posing, no pretense. In these, I am always surprised at what I find…the age, the eyes, the big nose and the hands. I don’t know how I am seen because I never bother to wonder, I just know how I feel.
