Have you ever written a deaf character?

No, and it kind of sucks. 

I have thought about introducing such a character for years, I think it could be done well, with proper care and some help from friends. It hasn’t happened yet.

I know some deaf characters have appeared elsewhere in mainstream comics but I haven’t read them yet.
