See some cool art on Tumblr that went uncredited, and looks like it came from Pixiv?

This might help!

1. Download the SauceNao extension. This is for Firefox, there may be a Chrome version somewhere. This was created mainly for 4chan browsing but it works pretty good with Tumblr too!

2. Right-click the uncredited image, do a SauceNao search, and if you're in luck, a direct link to the Pixiv URL will come up! Now you can copy the URL and add it to your reblog. As yet only SauceNao supports Pixiv, and not IQDB or TinEye.

3. If you'd like to check out the Pixiv page itself, you'll need an account (something I'd recommend in any case!), which is easy enough to sign up for if you know rudimentary Japanese. If you don't, search "Pixiv account" on Google for a whole bunch of help pages.

4. Sometimes you'll get linked to a Danbooru page or something like that. They don't credit their sources either, so you're out of luck in that case. And when it doesn't work at all, you'll probably get some random porn image, so to use this method, you must be OK with this!
