I read about a Republican politician arguing against accepting Syrian refugees because—hold your hats, folks—it’s too easy to buy guns in his state.
And, who made it “too easy to buy guns”? Politicians beholden to the NRA. That's not irony; that’s absurdity. Greed trumps common sense. And, polemic trumps intelligent thought..
