Agnostic?

"When all is said and done, if one is honest about it, does anyone really know? Does anyone really know whether the theistic or athiestic view is the truth? When all is said and done, aren't we all, essentially, agnostic? Why do people demand certainty regarding something that, it could be said, they can't know?" Someone said this to me. What do you think? Which view is shared in The Monkey Bible?
