An Austen Addict, and Proud of It.

My friend Kathy Strong—that's Dr. Strong to you (she recently received her Ph.D. from USC in English with a specialty in eighteenth-century British literature; and yes, I'm bragging) made me this fun necklace—a one-of-a-kind piece.  IMG_0939

Unfortunately the photo doesn't do it justice. The setting is a bottle cap, the little portrait and letters are affixed to the concave side with resin. And can you read what it says? "Addict."

In short, the coolest piece of Austen-inspired jewelry I've ever seen.

Don

Vic That necklace is cool, Laurie. I just posted my review of your book Rude Awakening of a Jane Austen Addict on my blog. I must admit I took some liberties at the end, but had fun doing so.

Great read; smooth, easy style. Congrats. Vic

Laurie Rigler Thanks so much, Vic. I loved your flights of fancy in imagining a third book--really fun!
