Terry Brooks On THE BIG BANG THEORY – Sort Of
On January 5, 2016, The Shannara Chronicles premieres on MTV.
It’s not apparently the first time executive producer and author Terry Brooks’s name will hit network TV. Last week, on November 5th, The Big Bang Theory featured the interior of Howard and Bernadette’s home, the house he grew up in. In the episode, The Spock Resonance, Bernadette threatens to remodel the house. The furniture, the wall paper, the carpet—all of it smacks of Howard’s deceased mother.

Nicely spotted. I wish I kept my Shannara books from when I was a teenager. I'm in my 40s now and I'm buying them all over again (and many new ones I didn't know existed).

I just started rereading the whole series. I, too, have to buy them again, having given the entire series to a friend. I'm on my eighth book, "The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara." It's a testament to Terry Brook's writing that these stories are just as fresh and enthralling thirty years after they were first read.
