This is what happens when I innocently go to a pet adoption event (NKLA’s Adoption Weekend at the La Brea Tar Pits): I come home with a new literary kitty! Everyone meet Sammy. He’s 3 months old and a tiny ball of love. Lulu, Rumi, and Scout are still trying to figure out how they feel about him, but I’m already smitten. ❤️ If you’re thinking of adopting an animal, make it a rescue. There are so many cats and dogs in need.
