Need a Sherlock & Soldiers on my TL today.

In more random things that make me think of fic I love.

I’ve seen a lot of things going around lately talking about Sherlock’s military kink. I think it is definitely there, the “all the nice girls like a soldier” is badly remembered. That does not sound like deleted popular culture, that just sounds like a thought that stuck. It makes me think of one of my favourite series to be published lately.

The name of this series (Military Kink) might give you the impression that this little sequence is all about sex (and don’t get me wrong, there is a lot of sex and the sex is very hot) but this series is so much more than sex alone. It is delightful and so romantic with both of them so in love and so nervous.

I absolutely loved this - it really made my day. I adored the characterisation, it so perfectly fits with my head-canon for Sherlock in particular - I’ve always thought his addictive personality would extend to John if he ever let himself. In the way of all good fiction it gave a lovely ending and I would still absolutely love some more. 

I read the whole thing twice through and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of SilentAuror’s best.

Also, I really need someone in my life to make me congratulatory sex cakes, everyone should have congratulatory sex bakers.
