Quick description of it (no spoilers):
A virus that turns people into psychotic killers gets loose on Long Island. The government quarantines the island. A woman’s autistic son is infected, but not only doesn’t get sick, actually gets better. He might be the key to a cure, if she can get him past the government troops, the crazed infected, and a criminal gang leader with his on sick plan for the boy.
Something unique about it.
The disease doesn’t come from any of the usual sources you see in most zombie novels, and this one is actually scientifically possible.
