At the moment, Chrome is designed to be basic and do web browser things while Android is the mobile operating system. Video powerhouse YouTube launched their subscription service earlier this week. Users pay $9.99 a month to enjoy videos from their favorite creators with no ad interruptions. YouTube Red is offering a 30 day free trial to video watchers. This free trial rose concerns among content creators who worried they would not be paid for the views during this trial (Think Taylor Swift vs Spotify and Apple Music). Fear not, no letter or announcement will have to be made because YouTube Red creators will get paid during the free trial. Maybe they took a hint from Taylor Swift and the music industry.
