As some of you may know, Entangled announced last week that they’ve started up Entangled Music.
Entangled Music plans initial focus to be on their first label, Subtext Records, which releases “character inspired” soundtracks based on books for inclusion with purchase, as well as streaming. Separate tracks will also be available for purchase on all major retailers
Oblivion and Obsidian received the music treatment, and after speaking with David Elliott Johnson, who music writing has landed him in the Top 10 around the world, I couldn’t wait to see what he came up with. A sneak peak of the song completely inspired by Daemon Black is embedded in the Oblivion trailer.
Listen to the lyrics. That screams Daemon throughout Oblivion.
-Song name: “Turn Your Eyes”
Performed by Paul Jonathan Holmes
Song written by Paul Jonathan Holmes & David Elliott Johnson
It’s performed by Paul Jonathan Holmes and written by Paul and David Elliott Johnson. They read everything they could about Daemon and Obsidian, and wrote the song about how Daemon feels in Oblivion about having the weight of the race and keeping Katie safe and Dee on his shoulders. Every line in the song was written from putting themselves in Daemon’s POV.
The full version of Turn Your Eyes will be available with the purchase of the Oblivion e book as it is embedded in the e book!
I’ve also heard the rest of the songs inspired by Katy and Daemon, which will be released shortly, and they are super amazing.
Believe it or not, there is actually a new scene that was cut out of Oblivion. So if you’d like to receive the bonus scene, all you have to do is order Oblivion (in ANY version) before December 4, 2015 and fill out
THIS
form.

Please remember:
Oblivion (Trade paperback) – will just be Obsidian in Daemon’s POV
Oblivion (digital copy across all retailers) – will be Obsidian, Onyx, and Opal in Daemon’s POV
Reason why?
Oblivion would’ve been a massive book in print, coming in over 1300 pages which made putting the book in print very difficult and not very cost friendly to the readers. But Entangled Teen and I knew that some of you would want Oblivion in print, a copy that you can hold in your hands.
So Oblivion will be available in print for those who wish to have a physical copy. The print copy will be Obsidian told in Daemon’s POV, and the digital version will include Obsidian, plus two bonus books (Onyx and Opal) in Daemon’s POV. The Print version will be available at online retailers and is mainly in place for those who want a print copy. The digital book includes all three stories. If you do end up purchasing both versions, you’ll be paying roughly $17-$18 combined for what basically is three books. If you pre order the print copy right now, both versions will cost you around $13 dollars. There will not be an online signing for release, mainly because of timing.
Foreign territories may chose to release Oblivion differently. They may decide to release the book in three sections at different times, in different volumes. I will have no control over that.
