Ancient Sink Hole!
The newest painting from my father, 88-year-old master artist, Dan Wetta! This painting in acrylic is a design for a stained glass window based upon block print illustrations in 14th century bibles. The subject matter depicts the story in Numbers 16: 25-34 in which wicked men were swallowed into the earth in front of Moses and the Israelites. My father surmises that a sink hole did this, not an earthquake as reported in the story!
