Taking a time-out from me to gush about others!

Hey guys! I've had to do a lot of promoting lately for the release of The Libby Garrett Intervention. Believe it or not, I don't love just talking about myself and my books all the time. I feel so... ugh... I don't know. So today, I'm taking a break from all the Libby promo and Kelly this-and-that to talk about some of my favorite authors and good friends who deserve as much attention (if not more!) as me.

It's been a BIG week for book releases and we have THREE book birthdays to celebrate today!!!

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY ROGUE!
First up, we've got Karen Lynch with Rogue! Be still my beating heart. I love this series more than I can express to you. Karen became one of my favorite authors with her debut novel Relentless and with each following book in the series she's captivated me even more. I'm a fan for life and honored to be her friend. One of the perks of being an author is that I get to contact all my favorite authors and fan girl on them and it usually results in real friendships. That's totally what happened with Karen. I started gushing about her so much she was forced to be my friend. And then she even let me read Rogue early!!! (Lucky me, I'm so spoiled!)

And now, lucky you, because ROGUE released today and is available for everyone to read! Do miss this book!!! It's full of awesomeness and yumminess! And the best part? The series is now complete! No waiting for the next book, so get started!

Second up, we have Whiteout by Nikki Jefford! I was only recently introduced to Nikki and her books. (A big thank you to Karen Lynch for the introduction!) Nikki writes vampires! (Among other things) I started her first book in the Aurora Sky Vampire Hunter series like last week. I read all for books in FOUR days!! I couldn't stop. I am so sleep deprived now. But I got sucked in. What's a bookworm supposed to do? Well I am happy to tell you that I only had to wait a few days for book five. I woke up with it on my iPad this morning and will be starting it just as soon as I hit publish on this blog post. YAY!!!

I have to give props to Aurora. Because if I was her and I found myself in the situation she fell into, I would have gone APE S%$! on the entire freaking world. I know I'm really into a book when I have to keep putting it down to pace around the room because my heart is racing. Not because I was scared. Oh no, I was mad. SO MAD. (In the absolute best way possible.) I wanted to kill people. Mainly certain characters in the book. When a book can get me so worked up, I know I've found a winner. I loved this series and think you all need to give it a chance!

I don't know if Whiteout is the last book or not. (I'll know by tomorrow for sure.) but I do know that book one is also FREE. So again, NO EXCUSES!

And last but not least, we're celebrating the release of Holly Hearts Headlines by the absolutely lovely Kenley Conrad! Kenley is so adorable, and her book gave me lots of feels. Again, speaking of books that got me emotionally invested, there was a certain boy I wanted to PUNCH IN THE FACE. I'm just saying. I loved the book and can't wait to read Holly Heart's Headlines! It'll be next after Whiteout! I am so rooting for Holly! And like I mentioned in last night's Facebook party, I think Holly and Kyle Hamilton need to sing a duet!!!
