How do I find poetry events near me?

If you live in the US, there’s this AMAZING app called Slam Find that will show you information about any registered slam/open mic in your area. Often there are more than what you see on Slam Find, but any decent slam master will know about other slam events going on in the area, so when you show up to a slam/open mic/reading you can ask the people running it if they know about any others!
