For a pico-second, I felt awesome power

So, yesterday, I put the cover of my new book in a blog post. At that point, the book had the usual (for me) seven-digit prepub Amazon sales rank. A bit later that day, I happened to check it, and see that it had leaped down to somewhere around 50K. I was dazzled by the awesome power of my blog.
