A way of perceiving things
Not either/or,
But both/and.
Not two separate things,
But two extremes of a single thing.
Joy ——————- Sadness
Not either Joy or Sadness,
But both Joy and Sadness,
equally accessible, meaningful and worthwhile
With shades of each in between
Love——————-Hate
Certainty—————Doubt
Moving between ends on a continuum is easier and less traumatic than choosing either one or the other.
It’s movement, not choice,
Not, selecting one and rejecting the other
But simply movement between different shades of a single thing
Each with its own place, time and value.
Not, ‘you’re either for me or against me’.
But, sometimes you’re for me, sometimes against.
