The Mad Hatter-That's Me!

I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!

Do you ever feel like that? :)

It all started this morning with making revisions on The Highland Wolf in Paradise, and I realized after I'd worked on it for an hour and a half that the word count wasn't right. It showed I had 5,000 words left to write today. But I wrote 5,000 yesterday, so I should have only had 2,000 words left today.

Argh. It has something to do with saving it, then moving the flash drive to my laptop. I was fortunate before I had a meltdown, that I had actually also saved it on my external drive before I began working on my laptop. Sooo, that meant that I had the 43,000 words instead of 40,000. But it also meant that all the changes I'd made on the bad version for an hour and a half had to be transferred over to the good version.

*sigh* Which is why I haven't posted a blog until now.

I still have 1,500 words to go to reach my goal of 45,000 words, and the HALFWAY point in the mss! Woohoo!

So with my tea in hand, and despite that I'm late, the Mad Hatter is here all well and good!
