We all have our fears. When we were kids, we were afraid of a lot of things like mascots and clowns. As teenagers, we still fear a couple things like failing a test or humiliating ourselves in public. Even our parents have existing fears today. Fear is so powerful that it can influence the way we think, act or speak. Often times, things we do based on fear may seem irrational, but what can we do? Fear has this power over us.


Fear has its pros and cons. Believe it or not, fear could be helpful. Fear on one hand, makes you extra careful and mindful. It makes you think of your safety all the time. On the other hand, it is also because of fear that we miss great opportunities and experiences. But whether it is a pro or a con to you, fear is already a part of life, so the only thing we can really do is just face our fears.
