Would you be willing to share any advice on writing martial arts for comics that you learned while working on Iron Fist?

But I had a couple of these guys on my desk

And would stage action with ‘em sometimes and write accordingly. Like – I’d take pictures of the little dudes doing what I was writing to make sure it could be drawn, that it made physical/spatial/temporal sense. I try to make every physical action a drawable beat and every drawable beat a strong visual moment in a sequence.
