Humour in the Face of Death, Part 2

My father is weakening day by day, but here's another one that made me scream (silently) and laugh. As the cancer spreads he begins to feel pain. I arrived one morning to find him groaning away. 'Have you taken any pain killers?' I asked. 'A panadol', he said. 'A panadol?' I said. 'Why not two?' He replied, 'It's not good to get too used to it'.
