“Thank you,” Rylee whispers before hugging Faith with all the strength her little body can muster; her body shaking. I move to my girls and put my arms around them. Placing a kiss on each of their heads. I don’t realize until later that Gunner takes a picture of that beautiful moment—the moment I made my daughter’s wish come true.
I'd given her Faith, a mother who loved her.

Weeks later, we say our tearful goodbyes and leave American soil.
The best years of our lives awaited us, but also moments that would change us forever. Had I known the drastic changes that would occur, I would have done so many things different... (Jake)
